I think the porsche did a great job of blocking but if the viper got in front he would have been long gone. However it was interesting reading the comments that "the Viper's have been forced to run on only 8 cylinders for the Nurburging races for a few years now, because the german dominance was in danger", taking a page out of Ferrari's book from the 60's.

I love the Vette.. If I lived in Cali or Florida, I would be pushing a Vette or M3.

1) Amazing Drivers in that Vid.
They obviously both have driven the ring many times.

2) I wish drivers in the United States could be as smart as some of these drivers on the ring. Be polite and get OVER! Let the faster people take the 2-5 sec to pass you!

3) Plus I loved how everyone on a race track can sucessfully go around accidents/broken down cars with out causing other problems.

As a driver, this video just makes me wish I lived in Germany. Especially if most people there have this kind of road awareness.

well at least the ones where they didnt have to navigate around other cars. The vette did over steer a couple of times but handled much better than I thought a vette could handle. The vette also had some solid torque. He would pull on the GT3 in 2nd and 3rd gears

The Z06 has to be the best bang for your buck performance wise. Crazy how hard it pulled on the GT3 on the straights. Both incredible cars with lights out performance.
