Say It Isn't So... First Ferrari 458: CRASH!
Super Sux...
Car:
2010 Ferrari 458 Italia
Description:
This is the first crash of a Ferrari 458 Italia on public roads.
The accident occurred when the Ferrari 458 Italia crashed into the left rear door of a dark red Volkswagon Bora.
According to an eyewitness, the Ferrari was driving between 60-70 mph on "Armii Krajowej" street which has a posted speed limit of 30 mph. When the Ferrari approached the intersection, a small bus abruptly made a left turn in front of it. In an effort to avoid crashing into the bus, the driver of the Ferrari veered slightly to his left and crashed into the Volkswagon Bora.
Police apparently said the Ferrari driver was at fault due to the high speed.
The Ferrari had Austrian license plates and was practically brand new having been purchased in March 2010. The driver appeared to be in his early 20s.

So how did eyewitnesses estimate the speed. Can that really be evidence if they have no concrete proof to show how fast the car was going? Just an opinion.
Remember that car is loud while cruising. I've had friends with LOUD exhausts drive up and down my street going 5 mph and had neighbors come out to tell them to slow up.

These cars make the drivers feel like super man. ........but then they quickly learn that physics always rules. Some cars, like the Nissan GTR, seem like they bend the laws of physics but NO car is free from these fundamental rules of physics. AWD would help though LOL

Reminds me of my father's friend who got his son a brand new Ferrari when he was in college, but wrecked it.

Early 20s with a new Ferrari...clearly not "his". Either purchased by his father or with his dad's money. Now don't get me wrong I don't find anything inherently bad about this, more power to him and his dad. But, I think it's easier to be careless with $200k+ toys when they are not purchased with your OWN hard earned money, and I think this simple fact might have contributed to this wreck
