The only cool thing I took away from this story is that someone ran a Lambo to almost 100k miles and did cross-country trips with it.
Other than that, it's just about someone who decided to run away from his problems and become completely self-destructive and irresponsible. He's not getting any respect or props from me. Makes you wonder why his fiancee left him in the first place? I guess I won't speculate.
I like how they ended the story with him building bikes as if he is now a free spirit and lives to tell his cool story. How about doing a follow-up about his debt and all the consequences of his actions? Oh right, that wouldn't make a nice article, would it?
I'm sure a lot of us have a choice to sell all of our stuff and go on a self-destructive spree. I don't find that admirable at all, that's just being stupid.

I wish I could just take a year off of work and drive all over the country, not just straight across, but up and down and everywhere. What a great experience it must be.

another related note on the guy with the Lamborghini, did he have the foresight to invest in a radar detector? the number of tickets seem very high if he was driving with a radar detector and to own and drive a car like that without one is stupid.
