Congragulations. The IS-F would likely be more reliable, but if you live in an area with bumpy roads I can understand you passing up on it. The C63 definitely has a more-civilized suspension....and, yes, that torque.
Treat that hand-built AMG V8 well, though, and break it in carefully. I know you will want to wring it out ASAP, but keep it under 4500 and don't floor the gas pedal for the first 1000 miles or so.
Ahhhhh I remember when I had my C63...It was a beast!!! I had HRE Comp93 wheels, KW Variant 3 coilovers, cf front lip, cf rear diffuser, and cf back seats...
Congrat's on your purchase. I'll look forward to more of your thoughts and experiences after you've had it a little longer but the mean time as others have said.. how about some pics
I've always loved the C63, head-turning looks, and out of all 3 (or 4), the C63 appears to be the most underrated and under appreciated. It is an awesome sedan.
I was a couple of signatures from getting the 2010 F, but the sales manager pissed me off. So I said I am done with Lexus (for now) and thought I would try something different. Found a great deal on this c63. So why not.
