Coming from Atlanta today my wife and I where witness to a horrible accident. An SUV with 2 young women lost control and went off the road at 90 plus mph. I was going 80. The SUV rolled several times taking out a large traffic sign before coming to a complete stop after hitting a tree in a ditch. We pulled over immediately and called 911. Surprisingly, only two other cars stopped. I ran over to see if I could pull anyone out but it was useless as the SUV was a pile of metal. Driver was in bad shape bleeding bad. Her passenger was trapped under her. All we could do was talk to them and let them know help was on the way. Thank God police showed up quick about 5 minutes after the accident. 5 officers and I couldn’t flip the car so they had to wait for the jaws of like to get them out. After about 15 minutes they got them out of the SUV. Officer told us driver was in real bad shape but, passenger was not hurt too bad.
Everyone that reads this say a prayer that the driver survives. She is someone’s child someone’s daughter.
Wear your SEATBELTS people and know the limits of your vehicle. The driver of the SUV was flying and when she hit that curve she lost it. They also didn’t have on seatbelts. The officer said they could have easily been ejected from the vehicle.
I’m gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight….
Keep God #1 people and be safe out there.

Nice of you to be so helpful. Sometimes we get so caught up with ourselves, we forget to think how much we'd want someone to help us out in a dire time of need.
What is so sad with your story is they weren't wearing seatbelts. Once I read that, it kind of changed my thinking about the girls. But like you said, they are someone's children, and that's plenty right there. It's truly a miracle they weren't ejected while rolling.

I wish them a speedy recovery....
That being said....we as humans exercise free-will, and make decisions which may physically harmful to ourselves or others (speeding, not wearing seatbelts). Thats the physical price you pay, no matter if/when/how fast help arrives.

there was also an accident outside my place last night but nobody was seriously injured (thankfully)
but this one sounds like it could have been seriously deadly.
Hope they're going to be ok.

lexmenow, thank you for sharing.
Perhaps this twist of fate may save someone. You were brave enough to help them (like you said, no one else stopped to help). You are strong enough to share your experience. And perhaps, since you did share your experience in such an open forum, you may have helped drill this idea into someone's head, to save their lives in the future.
I hope your mind rests knowing that what you did was not only right, but also valiant and respectable.
