1995 Camaro Z28 Convertible (Pics.)
It has been quite some time since I've had this car out and about. It was purchased in September of 1994 at Dan Young Chevrolet in Indianapolis. My dad ordered it for his "Midlife crisis" birthday. It now resides at my families house. My daughter got her first ride in it yesterday.
I learned to drive in this car and my wife and I drove it away from our wedding reception.
It isn't a "classic" in the normal sense of 60's muscle cars, but it represents something very special to me.
As it sits she has 40,051 miles on the clock - so it isn't necessarily a garage queen in the typical sense of "buy it and park it".
Thank you for looking.
1. She had been sitting for a while and was covered in dust. But washed and waxed for the nice summer weather.
2. A few bolt-on modifications.
3. Dynoed 273hp and 320 lb/ft at the wheels a few years back.
4. Still riding on 245/50ZR16 Goodyear Eagle GSC tires.
5. Medium Patriot Red Metallic is hard to find touch up paint for. But she is holding up fine.
6. The leather has held up quite nicely. Lost of Lexol conditioner has been used over the years.

Pretty rare to find a 90's Camaro that isn't all dented, primered, and beat up. Good work. I wager to say in about 35 years, these might turn into a classic.

Thats awesome. I can totally identify with the love and the connection you have for your car. Keep it in the family. It look mint to say the least.
BTW AWESOME exit from the wedding reception. I left my wedding in a 60's Rolls Royce which was very cool but you made a more dramatic exit. Thanks for sharing buddy

Thank you.
Hopefully I will continue to keep it running well and looking nice in the years to come.
Its funny, because you do kind of feel "red-neck" like when you drive it. It is very 90's feeling. Completely different feeling than say my 05' GTO that I use to DD.

I wouldnt call the car "red neck" because its in mint condition. It it had primer all over it with radio station stickers on the bumpers it would be different

That's one clean car!!! Keep up all the hard work. I would consider that car a "neo-classic". Is there some engine work done to it? I see that there's a Lingenfelter plate on it.
Nice, clean engine bay, btw.

No, no "packaged" Lingenfelter work. Long story short, the car was at Lingenfelter back in 1997. I believe that was the date. We did the LPE open house and put the car on the dyno, ordered some aftermarket parts.
I did get the chance to meet John Lingenfelter though. Very nice person and a shame he lost his life the way he did.
Again, long story short, we bought some bolt on parts, (exhaust, headers, etc) from LPE and bought the throttle body plate too. Nothing crazy.
