So from personal experience which get's more looks? The GS series, or the IS series (Before 05 models).

And after the 05 model, which?

Before 05, the IS. It was a lot more rare, and looks sick creeping up on you with the signature HID and yellow fogs.

After 05, the GS. It became a lot more rare than the IS, which now sells in droves.

No I've heard the opposite. But what would you say get's more looks in the car world? 350z?

Poll added. My choice is the GS before 2005. IS after 2005. The GS truly looked like nothing else on the road back then. It was so influential everyone stole its cues and the 3GS simply does not stand out as much.

The early IS didn't stand out for looks outside of Altezzas. The new model everyone seems to love how it looks, enthusiasts and regular people.

Mike, but the 2GS is too common, while 1IS is fairly rare.

^^^ +1. I get looks all the time in my 6year old LS which was thought to be the one with the least style. Anyway, I think the GS has always got more looks than the IS due to its curvaceous styling designed by Italian designer GG! The pre 05 IS was not a ugly car but was kind of generic in the style department. After 05 the styling got significantly better with the L-finesse but the GS still looks better IMO.

Imo the GS is more attention getting than the IS, before and after 05.. I'm not biased either.

i say pre 05 for both, presuming there is some vip look. but stock, post 05 for both. newer styling and sleeker design would still get heads turning. i like the IS look because it still suits the younger generation with the sport look. the newer gen GS has more elegance than speed IMO.

You'll get a zillion opinions on this. So here's mine. I love the current GS and would rather have that over any IS, save for an IS-F. I can't wait to see how they update the next GS.
