So they're doing this to try and earn money? Wouldn't this cost a ridiculous amount of money?

For the license plate you would need some sort of screen, an accelerometer to tell if it's moving or not, a small computer to process the information, as well as a radio of some sort to update the ads. Seems like it would cost a ridiculous amount to switch all of California to this...

Not to mention the overall stupidity of the idea in the first place.

Once again making us pay for unnecessary things that we don't even need. State, take a ****ing clue for once and stop being retarded! Geez I hate LA/CA gov't and officials more everyday...fortunately the weather makes up for it.

Makes a better case for registering your D/L and cars in Nevada. They don't charge "use tax" on private party used car sales.
