Clarkson actually got a Veyron up to its 253 MPH top speed (in KMH, of course) on a track in a recent Top Gear show....I watched it with some friends. That sensation is unbelievable. Slowing down, he thought he was almost stopped...and found he was still doing 70.
Was it a part of Top Gear show or some other show? So far I've seen all the episodes except the one that aired today, and I don't remember seeing that.

Sorry...you're right, that was a typo. Clarkson, of course, was hosting the show. Under the helmet, though, the guy DID look and sound a little like Clarkson.

It was a Top Gear show, that I watched at a friend's house, that he had been pre-taped.
never really was a formula racing fan...but the tribute was cool. Why was there this tribute? I'm quite sure I missed something.

I suppose they just wanted to throw it out there, to those who don't know about Senna. I mean heck, driving one handed through Monaco in an F1 car? That's bloody ridiculous.
Excellent episode, I predict that I'll watch it a second time this week (partly because it was so good and partly because I forced my self to stay up to watch it)
