The white one isn't bad.

Really?

Also keep in mind that this car, in it's first generation, is already the performance benchmark for a luxury full size sedan. It owns the 7 series, S class and A8 in any meaningful performance comparison.

As usual we come back to the whole "looks are subjective discussion". I LOVE this car with the right options/packages. This pic even has a good look at the controversial rear end. Only the Rapide trumps it in this class of cars.

Nicely done, but IMO still not attractive (and I do like Porsches). I've seen S-classes and LS's done up in a similar way that looked better.

Still ugly. Haven't seen one that looks decent, in person or in pictures. And no, it doesn't look any better in person. Yuck.

I guess there will always be people who aren't satisfied no matter what they drive, but it still makes you wonder if a car with a chassis, powertrain, and enginnering like this really NEEDS tuning.

Agreed, regarding above statement.

A majority of the tuner-type business, is exactly that personalization for a high performance look and slightly improved handling and often without any underhood/engine mods.

amazing how polarizing this car is.
