What is the need to replace the tranny, especially at the end of the life cycle? This is still one of the fastest, most fuel efficient engines in it's class and FWIW, I think the transmission is great. Yeah, a 7 or 8 speed would be nice, but judging by the numbers, there is little reason to upgrade at this point. Next gen for sure, though.

Not feeling either the ISF or the IS350. The wheels ruin it for me. Did they raise the ISF. It looks higher than the ones I susually see around. Also why did they get rid of the open front fenders. Now your 60k ISF looks just like the basic IS350. That was a stupid move......really stupid move. Like the M3 has the bulging hood, the ISF needs to separate itself by more than a stacked exhaust and wider tires imho. For the money I think I would do the M3

so THAT must be why there was a $1000 price increase on the 350....
i was wondering why the 250 didn't get an increase.
standard hid's my ***. technically, they made it a mandatory option

woops. I saw that it said ISF revised and since the first car was in that ISF blue I figured it was the new ISF. I still feel like they are blending these vehicles dangerously close together. Then again its not like Lexus sells a huge amount of ISFs. They will sell more of the IS350 with the F sport package.

I continue to be very impressed with Lexus and how they handle the IS line...I hope they follow a similar model for the GS, LS, and 3SC in the future. The fact that they are making substantial upgrades a year or two before the redesign is a testament to their dedication in seeing this car succeed.
2006 IS debuts
2008 ISF is born, F Sport accessories are added
2009 IS line is refreshed
2010 ISc is added, LSD added for ISF
2011 IS line is refreshed again, numerous retuning and upgrades to the ISF, AWD for the IS350

It is so encouraging to see them add a LSD to the IS F in 2010 and then continue to revise it with a new suspension in 2011. They really believe in the car and not leaving it with no updates. Its been a great vehicle for Lexus and all Japanese brands. The first M/AMG Japanese competition.
I don't agree with everything, the LEDs are still not my style and the front looks busier than before but overall, great vehicle.

I like how their making changes to the model, but.......
it looks just like a new corolla XRS
....the front bumper has the same "square" fog appearance and the same stick-on front lip
....the single-5 spoke wheels look exactly like the ones for the corolla XRS

pictures never do a car justice, the front end looks good. all the complaining for something that is optional. wow. If you don't like the front end don't get the f-sport packaging. To me it's a good refresh and the LEDs give it a more luxurious/upscale feel.

I'm excited for the changes in the IS-F, and I wonder if we can obtain the new parts or get info on the suspension settings and tweaks.
I'm NOT happy with Lexus copying BMW and attempting to bridge the F-Sport with the F. Just look at the multiple posts with ENTHUSIASTS mistaking it for the F! Yikes. It dilutes the F brand, but at the end of the day they'll make more money I suppose. Now people are really going to be confused. Was it really necessary to port over the F rear spoiler, side badges, AND the color?

The 2009 updates made the car seem very luxurious IMO. This update has the sporty looks to match its driving characteristics. Very aggressive design. I like it! I see on the toyota press website, they still have 2010 IS F pics up. I see they are holding back on releasing the pics.
