Looking forward to your review.

OK, Thanks..... that one might have gotten by me, as I obviously don't spend as much time on the IS forums as I once did.

If and when it arrives, I will put it on my review list. Could (?) be a good candidate for the Annual Holiday Review I do every December.

I like it but I also really liked my GS 400......and my ES 300 was my first Lexus so its hold special memories for me and at the time was an incredible car for the money.

I really don't know...

I have two lists.

The best Lexus I have owned was my 99 LS400. The car is just solid.

2nd, 2003 GS430. Great car, but not as solid over all as the LS.

3rd, 04 RX330. This car had some problems, but mechanically was sound and never gave me trouble.

4th. 93 SC400. Build well, but I didn't really care for it.

5th. 94 ES300. Should never have bought this car.

Lexus I enjoy the most? This list only swaps the first two places. I enjoy my 2003 GS430 much more than my 99 LS400. The rest of the list remains the same when it comes to enjoyment.

I still have my first and only Lexus, My 93 SC300. I now have the FJ for winters and a S550 when I want to really impress, but taking the SC out for a howl every now and then is still damn fun. I love hearing the I6 howl through my Borla exhaust. Still love the car.

1998 GS400, first but not my last.

Solid, solid build quality and the v8 is a fantastic engine

I've had 4 Lexies, my parents had one which i've mention is i believe that to be equal to my best pick of my 4 Lexies.

My four Lexus(s) :

-- '99 GS400 (Bought new - my 1st Lexus) <--- I still own
-- '02 IS300 (One of my favorite rides) <-------- (SOLD)
-- '05 LS430 UL (Great car, Extreme Comfort) <--- (SOLD)
-- '05 GS430 (My 2nd love, Smoooooth car) <--- Currently driving

My parents (1) Lex : -- '98 LS400 (Fantastic all around car)

My choice is between '99 GS400 (mine) and '98 LS400 (parents) --(Totally different cars, different characteristics, different driving manners but I believe to be equal in quality and refinement - two of the best Lexus(s) I've ever known, without any reservations or doubt...

so why is the 2010 better?

personally I've had a 2006 IS250 (stripped) and a 2006 IS350 (loaded).....the 350 was worlds more fun but neither had any issues.

I have owned three so far

-08 RX 350 (Wifey car solid SUV)
-04 LS 430 (Totaled but great car bumper to bumper period)
-07 LS 460 (3 months in & loving it with no issues minus the recall)

All have been drama free!

07 IS350 - no drama, no warranty defects, 2 recalls fixed at no expense to me, 2 TSIB's fixed (at my request, no expense to me), 1 more recall possible.

2008 ES 350. My first Lexus. With the exception of an intermittent rear windshiled rattle on hot days, the car has been flawless so far. No warranty related issues yet. I currently have only 32K miles on it though. Very comfortable quiet freeway cruiser.
