And I thought the CTS_V was superior to the M3? Or is this review biased?

These magazines really need to find better reasons and complaints... the CTS-V was "too quiet" ???? For crying out loud, open a window then.

The M3 is too played out, I'd get the CTS-V just to be different than any other Joe with a 3.

In Car and Driver, BMW M3(actually all 3-series) not only would beat Audi RS5 and Cadillac CTS-V, it would beat F16, Optimus, and Apollo 11. Just kidding, I have not read the article and I should have read it before I post this thread, but I really don't think it makes any difference. I seriously think BMW should give each C&D staff a 3-series for free.

I may be wrong, but didn't the last C&D say that its writers have more 3 series than any other car...?

Does the article say why the IS-F or the C63 AMG were not included? This reminds me of the comparo between the Nissan GTR and the M3, the GTR had no soul so it lost.

i too was wondering why they didnt include the F or AMG in this little article. i remember reading the GTR v M3 article as well...very sad for a car magazine to not even give a bias-free analysis. GTR had no soul...

I would assume that it's because we're talking 2 Doors vs. 4 doors?

No F and GTR because this was fight of the 2-doors.

GT-R has no soul because it tracked too good. But in the case of IS-F where it doesn't track as well, it's said "it handles unpredictably"... but if a M3 were to slip and slide, it would be written as "fun and predictable."

Thus is life, M3 rules the world because it's just SO SO GREAT. If the M3 were a Transformer, it would be BigBalz Prime, the greatest Prime ever !!!

Wouldn't the M6 have been a better comparo for the CTS-V Coupe and RS5 considering the M3 is lighter/smaller?
