Default Fair Price for Supra?

Just wanted to know what the CL community thought the going price would be for a Supra. A buddy of mine was telling me that Supra's have been appreciating in value a bit.

Let say..... 95 Supra 6spd, Twin Turbo, Targa Top. With 30,000 miles. Zero mods, bone stock. Clean title and absoulutely flawless.

If the above Supra still existed, what would be the value of it?

I don't care about kbb or nada, dealers don't even use those books, they more or less rely on what its going for at auction. But obviously, these cars aren't at auctions every day.

What would you pay or what do you think its worth?

I would say about $40,000

25-30k is where i would guess it would sell for. With the way things are supras are one of a few that do not loose the value. Going up in value- meh, not that much.

The going price of that unicorn would be around $38k. Bone stock, low mile, clean supras are so rare, for $38k there would be plenty of interested buyers.

I just bought a 97 TT off craigslist for 15k, needs an engine, and some bodywork, got an engine of ebay for 2000, car itself has no mileage, once the engine and body work are done it will be sold for 25k, kbb list the car as being worth 38k, somehow I don't believe that

sounds about right because if you were paying a shop/shops to put the motor in and getit wired right + $3000(+) V160 TRANS+ paintowrk you'd be adding roughly $10-13k to the price

Yeah 35-40k is about right. Mind you that is near the original MSRP back in 1995.

I believe the MSRP was up to 49k in '96, and Toyota dropped it 10k to 39k in '97 (much to the dismay of '96 buyers, I'm sure).
