I'd like to get an OBDII scanner for our Lexus's. Not really sure which one's to look at, but here's what I'm looking for;
- Reads OBDII and be backwards compatible with OBDI. I'm not sure if that's possible but it'd be nice for my Caddy but isn't absolutely necessary since the Caddy has a dash readout for codes.
- Be able to read newer Lexus's
- Not limited to just engine codes etc.
- Be a standalone device. It would be nice if it was bluetooth or USB so I could use it with my windows mobile phone or laptop, but I don't want to rely on devices other than the scanner. Whats the benefit of using a laptop or phone anyway, read more info on the screen?
Thanks alot
