No helmet no pants motorcycle rider arrested
News Link
While the helmet debate can get heated between motorcycle enthusiasts, the option of wearing pants never seems to be discussed.
And what may seem like the most obvious conversation for some was apparently needed for a Canadian rider who was recently stopped in the city of Hamilton. Located between the famous Niagara Falls and Toronto, a Hamilton Police Officer got more than he bargained for after stopping a speeding motorcycle rider.
It was the rider’s fast speed and missing helmet that had the police officer decide to pull over the 40 year old Hamilton resident. After a quick pursuit, the rider lost control of his motorcycle when the officer struggled with the half-naked offender and arrested him.
"He had no pants, no underwear," acting Staff Sgt. David Hennick told a local newspaper.
Not surprisingly, the rider shows signs of alcohol in his system registering .05 to .08 from a breathalyzer test which earned him a three day license suspension. The rest of the incident has the 40 year old rider facing charges including dangerous driving and flight from police.
For those in the mood for naked bikers, we have included the famous motorcycle safety video from New Zealand:
(Funny clip from a safety video. And although everything is appropriately censored, it may not be work safe...)
