The Jag, IMO, is far and away the better-looking of the two. But, other than that, I can't really make a choice.....I haven't driven or reviewed either, and I don't want to pick one just on hearsay. And, though Consumer Reports has little reliability data on either car, neither one is likely to be very reliable, based on the records of their corporate cousins.

Very interesting comparison. I've been looking at the XK R (with Speed & Black pack) as one option for our next vehicle. Ironically, I've never even considered the M6...lol. It comes down to XK-R vs. Vantage/Gran Turismo, 997TT vs. GT-R, or M5 vs. Panamera.

(Honda/Kia/Hyundai threads) so I will try my best to uplift here with ASPIRATIONAL vehicles. While I am still not a fan of the M6 looks I don't mind it in black to much and the thought of a V-10 makes me purr.
I agree with everyone the XK looks wonderful and seems to be the perfect GT.
Its amazing to me how we are so blessed with so many fantastic choices today.

i havent been in an XK-R, but id choose it over the M6 coupe. it didnt handle as well as the other M models. the M6 definitely packs a punch, but it does suck up a lot of gas doing so. the looks of the XK-R also would attract me to that model over the M6.
