Really? I thought it was solid in the turns. The only creaking I had was rattle hatch (but I drowned it out with my system).
Although yes it was pretty underpowered.

I myself always preferred the '79 Celica Supra Liftback.

I've always liked the Celica-Supra but always wonder if the car emerged more as a Supra or Celica or is it that the Supra evolutionized itself out of the Celica?!?

Anyways, i always wanted one of these Celica-Supras my cousin had one that look more like the early 80's Supra.. Interesting ERA from Toyota!!

I believe the Celica-Supra, despite the name, was more of a GT car than a true sports car. Then again, I am not to sure about that since my knowledge on older Toyota products (or modern ones for that matter) isn't that great. I've always liked the design, though.

haha that was my first car, 83 GT *the pic shows a GT-S*, got it NEW in 83 when i was 16 and payed for it while working at mcdonalds... the memories...

that's the old celica/supra that I love.

strangely, it looks better than the non-hatch
