I saw this on TV the other day. I think it's pretty well done!

Nice commercial, and very well done.

"New Standard of the World" is cheesy as hell though, IMO.

Nice.............although I like the wagon version more.

Anyways
This is definitely my favorite Cadillac and the caddy that I love and respect the most. Props to them indeed for creating a fantastic vehicle.

P.S.
However

I dunno why but I'm still bothered at how dirty Nurburgring is.

I'm really happy with what Caddy has done to the CTS.

I hope they make their other models just as spectacular...

Agreed, good fun for us enthusiasts.

Slogan is pretty empty.

I agree, although it doesn't break much new ground.......it's common knowledge that the CTS-V was developed and tested on tracks, especially the Nurburgring.

I drove the CTS-V with the manual and I was pretty impressed. However I would still take the IS-F over the CTS-V.

If I were buying a car today, this would be on my short list of candidates. Agreed that the slogan is silly though.

I'm looking forward to a CTS-V, XF, M5, S6, E63 and GS-F comparo in the future.

you mean rs6? s6 i don't think would do very well against the other cars (minus the gsf which is not even here, haha)

Well, I admittedly haven't driven it, but on paper it appears to match up well. Isn't the RS6 a pretty rare bird? I don't think it's even available in the U.S. is it?

yup, the rs6 doesn't reach the US soil, very painful

the rs series has always been the one to really match up with the other cars in recent years. like the rs4, that's the car to go against m3 and c63. looking at the s5, it's ok but it doesn't touch those cars. that's why when i read about the s6 somehow i got a feeling it's probably a bit ahead of the 550i and e550, but i am not sure how close it gets to the m5 and e63?

I agree, nicely done commercial.

I was able to sit in a new CTS-V couple while it was running. I have to say whether sitting inside the car or standing beside it, that engine has a PHENOMENAL note to it
