I don't think that's why it sells poorly. CRV's and RAV 4's sell very well in that price range.

it's only been in market for a few months right ?

I hope the optima sells poorly when it comes out, this way I can bargain down! the 2011 sorento can be had for 19k, I've been seeing more of them on the streets lately.

Weakest as in power (yeah, the 4 cyl struggles to move the Sorento, but the V6 has more than enough power)?

Or do you mean in sales? (If Kia can get the SX trim out fast enough, the Sorento may very well beat the venerable Honda Pilot in sales for 2010.)
