First Drive: 2011 Volvo S60 and R-design models debut

I didn't see this mentioned in the original post, but, according to this, the American-market version gets the performance suspension/chassis standard......Europeans get a choice of that or the Comfort suspension.
Some of Volvo's older, traditional, more comfort-oriented buyers aren't going to like that .......although many Volvos, years ago, traditionally had a rather stiff ride, even in standard versons.

In a move we Americans aren’t used to, Volvo says it will equip U.S. versions of the new S60 with its sportier “Dynamic chassis” as standard, whereas other markets will come with a “Comfort chassis,” with the dynamic version optional. Volvo’s FOUR-C active chassis will be optional in the States.

That's an excellent paint color, BTW. I hope they offer that in the American market. They offered a similiar color, back in the late 1990's, with the original C70. It was called Saffron, a yellowish/orange/amber.....and then they dropped it after a couple of years.
