GAYDON, England — Aston Martin has added a new roadster companion to its V8 Vantage N420 coupe, just in time for the 2010 Paris Auto Show.

The N420 coupe and roadster share a 420-horsepower 4.7-liter engine with the standard V8 Vantage but feature uprated suspension and exhaust, as well as distinctive styling touches and interior upgrades. Buyers can choose from a six-speed manual or optional Sportshift automated manual transmission.

Both N420 models are fitted with a standard Sport Pack that bundles revised springs, shocks and stabilizer bars plus a sport exhaust system.

Exterior changes include carbon-fiber splitter, side strakes and diffuser; wider sills; black mesh vents and 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels.

The cabin is equipped with an Iridium package that includes graphite instruments, leather or Alcantara steering wheel, carbon-fiber seats and N420 sill plaques.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 prices start at $153,350.

Inside Line says: A handsome vehicle, inspired by the brand's motorsports experiences at the Nürburgring. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

Aston Martin>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Corvette

Its not about bang for buck performance and nothing else.

With that said, while still a nice car, this N420 gets a big "so what" from me.

in keeping with the new led headlight theme, this one doesn't look bad. but as with most aston martin's, i think this looks gorgeous, especially as a vert. it might have comparable power to a corvette, but the luxury and prestige that is attributed to Aston Martin is unparalleled. makes me want to pop in a james bond movie right now. hehe :P

I use to agree with that statment but after seen a few Vantage in person. I really don't think it applies. But thats your imo.
If a car msrp is over 100k, it's nothing poor about it.
