What a lineup!

I hope the relationship with Toyota helps:

*Make Toyota more sporty, &
*Make Lotus more reliable.

The only one I like is the Espirt, because it kept the similar boxy shape it's always had. The Elise in my opinion is full of fail, as it hasn't kept ANY distinction and looks like your run of the mill sport coupe. The Elan as well has kept with it's boxy shape, so it gets a pass for an updated look. As for the Eterne, I guess it's a new model so I can't really judge it, but it does have an AM feel to it.

Ok this explains why Elite has generic design. Well so does every new Lotus shown here. They were all designed in hurry to show up in Paris.

Okay, I was not prepared for this thread at all!

I'll take them all please!

SO there is the Elise, Evora, Elan, Elite, and Esprit. Seems like some potential over lap, but that sounds like an exciting lineup of two door sports cars. All powered by Toyota engines too. lol

It's further proof that I like British cars over German ones...

Boring designs with oh so very little originality or Lotus flair.

They're turning the Elise into a Boxster. Shame. It'll sell more for sure, but still, shame that they have to get rid of their core beliefs for some sales. I for one would be more inclined to buy one now than before. But still, shame. Plus, who's gonna pay 55k for this when you can buy an FT86, turbocharge it, and run circles around it for half the price?

Not sure who's gonna plunk down 180k for an Espirit when it looks that boring.

And the Elite and Eterne... seriously what are you guys doing in a Lotus lineup.

The Elan is the most promising prospect here, imo. Solid performance at a reasonable price. With it coming out in 2013, what are they going to do with the Evora?

Still, I think Lotus is mad for releasing all these vehicles AT ONCE, especially w the vehicles looking boring and dated as they are already... they aren't going to have anything new to show for the next five-six years, and that is a LONG TIME.

The Esprit model shown there looks JUST LIKE the new Supra that will be coming out.....

Ive always liked a yellow Elán. Great price and great performance.

So they just dumped all of these concepts at one show? I have to say, these cars are gorgeous. I specifically love the Esprit...holy chit

Looks like they are trying to diversify their model range and offer larger vehicles. I kinda worry about them using Lexus F engines in the future. I can see Lexus dropping a certain engine into the ISF or GSF, then handing it over to Lotus who tunes it for another 40-50hp and then Lexus' halo F cars look second best

Lotus has now just bumped a lot of brands down to be in my top 5 favorite brands. Wow, what bold concepts and how bold to drop them all at the same time!

Okay these are toyota engines? A 4 cylinder with 320hp? A 4.0 V-6? The 5.0 with 620hp? The 5.0 in a mid-engine setup!!

Wow......Can we get these motors in a Lexus too?

That 2.0 turbo has piqued my interest the most. I'm dying to know what it is. The V6 and v8 are forced induction (2GR, 2UR). The 2GR is stroked just as in the Evora GT4 race car, but boosted in this application. I have a feeling that we will get the boosted 2UR in the GS F (but in 540hp trim)

Well they don't really compete with any of their models, so I don't think that will be an issue. You could also look at it from the position that a 40-50hp boost could be just an ECU swap away. They won't look second best from anyone's perspective.
