I think Toyota/Lexus is perfectly capable of making their engines far more powerful if they so choose. They have always tended to leave a lot of power on the table in the name of reliability, economy and emissions. Lotus cars are far lighter than anything Lexus makes, so the do have a little more flexibility in terms of what they can do. They also are a full line sports car maker, so I really don't see the big problem.

I really do think we'll see the FI'd 5.0 UR V8 in the GS-F.
