That's easy, never get my car valeted. I trust friends/family to drive my car, barely. Just because someone gets paid for something doesn't mean they'll do it responsibly.
I would rather walk 15 blocks than let someone that I don't know take my car for any amount of time.

Very easy solution for this - have them write the mileage on both copies of the valet tag. If they are within 1 mile of each other upon the return of the vehicle, we're good. If not, someone has some serious splaining to do, and we proceed to Bruce Li mode. ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I never valet my cars, but I do valet in Vegas with a rental (I never fly in, that way I can stay at my leisure). I learned a long time ago, that having them do this puts them on notice that this is not the car to go tooling around in.
