Lexus' New Marketing Blitz
I remember in the WSJ thread about the Lexus dealer meeting, something was mentioned about how Lexus was going to start comparing (read: attacking) other brands in order to make themselves look better, ala Hyundai.
And someone posted saying that Lexus didnt usually do such things in their commercials. Looks like they are starting to

I like both though

I like both commercials, nicely done .
However, I don't really like Lexus specifically comparing their models to the competition by name. I don't think Lexus should be engaging in this kind of marketing.

Agreed. The IS commercial is sweet though. Since when did the IS get more hp than a 335i ?

a different marketing tactic....as long as it spurs sales, it'll be worth it. mercedes is currently leading in the total sales category, so with new insight and exposure on lexus, it hopefully will bring it back to its top spot.

Some good commercials with some useful and interesting content, and well done. And pleasantly without "punch a dub", wrecked Subies alongside phony/poor actors, Subies racing through public backstreets trying to impress a New York cabbie, people abusing Nissans, crappy 4-cylinder Calibers making V8 sounds, etc.
