Yeah I got my sights on a Mazdaspeed 3 They are cheap now around 13k

Watch out for angle gear (fragile) and turning radius is a bit small because of the gigantic wheels.

My friend owned a blue with saddle S60R he loved it but was always afraid of destroying his angle gear.

Congragulations...a nice car.

Should be fairly reliable if taken care of, although Volvos are known for some electrical glitches with bulbs, wiring, relays, etc....

Volvo dealer-service is not the most expensive in the buisness, but is not noted for being low-priced, either.

If you are married, your wife and kids (not to mention yourself as well) will appreciate the many safety-features in new Volvos. Volvo, Mercedes, and, to a lesser extent, Saab, are known as the auto industry's safety-pioneers, though other companies are rapidly catching up.

That would be a nice contrast to the Volvo, no redundant cars needed.

Not a problem in 06-07 models. The 06 has a new 6spd auto compared to the weak 5spd in the 04-05 models. Anyways I plan on buying an extended warranty.
