I finally drove one today and I can say that it is far superior to the 400h. It's quieter, quicker, more frugral, way more comfortable, bigger. I loved it. However, I think the new RX is too big. I would not want to drive this car in an urban setting, which is half of the point of the hybrid variant right? It's too big to manuever and to see out of. A great road trip vehicle however.

It's only 1.5" longer and 1.6" wider.Just looks much bigger than the last generation.
usable space is better and just feels a lot more roomy inside. it's a great packaging.
But no proper front seat arm rests.. no easy to use touch screen... and that big intrusive center console.. we had a RX450h loaner when our last generation RX330 was in for a service recently. I was quite surprised how much more bulky it felt... like it is in mid-metamorphosis into a bigger class of vehicle. After owning both previous RX generations we will probably skip this one.

lol, interestingly the previous 2 generation of rx, we wouldn't even consider. 3rx is the first rx that we consider putting in our garage
With the usual $3500 down, the 2011 IS250 are leasing for $319/mo here in SoCal. That is the lowest lease on this car since it was new in 2006. Tempting...
