I'm always worried about old cars with extremely low miles. Was the car started a couple times a week? Did it just sit for years at a time between starts and drives? Cars that don't run often usually have more problems than cars that are used regularly. For me, I think a slight premium is worth it for a car like this, but I wouldn't be a lot more for it. It is just a Camry Coupe although a it is a manual, but still not work a whole lot more money IMHO.
Cars sitting around like this have problems.

Wonder who bought this originally and why? Camry's are appliances to be driven, a lot.
Agreed as well. Just because a car has ultra low miles, doesn't mean it's still like new. Time is a bastard on car parts and parts and fluids that don't move adequately enough spells troubles.
The buyer shouldn't buy this in an effort to acquire a trouble free commuter.
If anything, someone who is perhaps a collector, or simply has the extra cash, should buy this and just leave it stored. Then unwrap it in another 30-40 years and then you'll really have a gem that by then would increase in value.

Pull up that long Ebay ad and read carefully and you will find that the car is currently in posession and being auctioned off by EZ Motors. Looks like the dealer may have driven it home or something to get some REALLY good pics. Now how the dealer came to be in posession of the car is another story entirely.

The original owner should have listed the car.
The ad reeks of used car lot salesman BS.
"Inside, the interior still boasts its factory “new car” smell"
No way.
"Although the miles are incredibly low, it appears the car was driven semi-regularly to keep the fuel fresh and the car in proper operating condition"
At 25+ MPG and an average of 375 miles a year, gas was sitting in the tank a long time.I doubt if it was drained at times.
"The tires also look fantastic, with no dry rot or cracking of the sidewall present"
I wouldn't drive around the block with 16 year old tires.

Per the AutoCheck report and current mileage, looks like this car sat for the last 15yrs.

it's possible.
if they had the windows rolled up the whole time, that would lock in the new car smell right?
