1. Will Lexus take the LS line all hybrid in pursuit of the all-hybrid S-class?

2. Is Lexus interested in going even more upscale to exotic luxury classes like RR or Bentely?

3. Whats up with the next SC?????

4. Whats steps are being taking to improve on existing quality and when will it be noticable?

5. Is Lexus taking Hyundai and Buick more seriously than Infiniti and Acura?

6. Will there be future LFA models or is it a 1-off?

7. Any EVs in Lexus' future?

1. Do Lexus consider making a coupe version for GS and high performance version GS-F to compete with E AMG and M5?
2. Will Lexus introduce new sport car model rather than sporty car?
3. Do Lexus benefit from partnership between Toyota and Subaru?
4. What is Lexus's design direction? Do Lexus want to be more appeal on older audiences or younger ones?
5. Will carbon fiber technology make it way to Lexus production?
6. Will Lexus improve the material quality?

Thanks Ryan, another great opportunity for Lexus enthusiasts. Glad we won't hear "smart luxury" excuses

Thanks for setting this up!

For the LC600h, please provide rear seat room for adults. A legitimate 4 seat (not 2 +2), hard top convertible with AWD, strong driving dynamics and sub 4 second 0-60 time hybrid would be a spectacular combination.

The factory paint finish looks great new. The paint is just not durable enough to deal with the pebbles any car is bombarded with during normal driving conditions.

Full Apple integration would be great, including iPhone features on a touch screen (not an iDrive oriented system). You could go a step further and integrate an iPad into the dash.

Provide an option to delete plastichrome and plastialuminum in favor of a more Tech look (and less of a suburban shopping mall look).

There is a movement toward true audiophile sound systems in vehicles. This requires use of the best speakers possible. I would like Focal speakers offered as original equipment in Lexus.

Create a virtual dealership buying experience. Being able to spec your bespoke Lexus in (avoiding regional options packages) at home and have it delivered to your front door would be so much better than working with salespeople who focus on selling what they have on the lot. Using this model, a dealership would be more of a service center, require less real estate to hold vehicles and would be less capitol intensive so there could be more of them to serve Lexus customers.

1 - Will Lexus being officially releasing a Lexus LFA Nurburgring lap time?

2 - How does Lexus feel about Lexus LFA winning a comparo against the Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE in a recent CarAndDriver magazine edition? The review summarized it by saying "if Toyota puts this much passion in everyone of its cars, it will simply be unbeatable". Can we expect that same passion, sensory overload and driver-oriented approach in other Lexus cars??

1) what was the thought process behind changing all Lexus Navs to hard drive based, but not having room to rip CDs into it? many other lower tiered brands have accepted that as a source of music.

2) Will Lexus upgrade their navs to combat rivals with 3D structures and topography?

3) Is lexus set on keeping remote touch and will it be integrated in most if not all future vehicles?

4) can we look forward to other driver assisted technology such as blind spot monitoring?

5) any comments on the HS's sale performance and will this affect a gen2?

Will the 2nd Gen IS-F be a True M3 Killer?

Will future Lexus models be more mod friendly?

The front of the IS, ES, and LS have similar grills, especially the lights. Will the future models have a more distinct look, like the way the GS has a completely different feel than the rest?

Keep the questions coming. Remember, post valid questions, not statements of what you want to see changed. I will be submitting the best choice to Lexus by the end of the day today.

Will we see Lexus utilizing any newer technologies such as dual clutch transmissions or DI turbo engines in the future? Also, will the 8sp auto tranny make it's way into lower models?

Agreed. In all honesty...let's think about what answers we are looking for before we post some of these questions.

1. Will Lexus take the LS line all hybrid in pursuit of the all-hybrid S-class?
That's a rumor to begin with, so I doubt Lexus is reorganizing their entire strategy due to a rumor. Even if they were, I really doubt he would give us an answer.

5. Will carbon fiber technology make it way to Lexus production?
They've already said yes, and it's already in the LFA.

6. Will Lexus improve the material quality?
Do you think they would say no?

Will the 2nd Gen IS-F be a True M3 Killer?
I'm sure that will warrant a typical PC response like, "We will continue to make the IS F a rewarding and enjoyable car for enthusiasts, and we are always monitoring the competition."

Keep in mind that he isn't going to give us product specific details simply because he can't. There might be a few hints here and there, but people asking, "WILL THE 4GS HAVE 600HP AND GET 40 EM PEE GEES!?" are either not going to have their questions selected or will get a typical PR response. It's a waste of time.

We are better off asking broader questions and trying to read between the lines for details.

Maybe things like...
  • What is the greatest challenge facing Lexus today?

  • The luxury landscape is very different today from what it was just a few years ago. Near luxury brands like Buick are showing a comeback, Audi is strengthening, and even Hyundai wants a piece of the pie. How will Lexus continue to position itself as a leader in the future?

  • The 5 Series and E Class have dominated the midsize luxury class for a long time in terms of sales volume whereas the GS has been a distant third or fourth. How will Lexus position the GS in it's next generation? Since there is now an E Coupe and 5 Series GT, does Lexus have any interest in diversifying past just one sedan model for the GS?

  • In recent press mentions, many Lexus executives have mentioned that the company is focused on offering more sport-oriented products. From your view, what does this mean? Are there plans to offer any additional coupes?

  • Previously, Lexus has mentioned that it does not see a reason to enter the entry-level SUV market like Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Acura have done. As this class grows, does Lexus see a renewed opportunity for growth?

Keep the questions rolling!
