Remember guys and gals 2008-2011 is still the 1st gen ISF. I'm pretty sure 2nd gen they'll squeeze out some more ponies. If they boost up the power too soon then it'll ruin the market for the previous ISF years which is basically within the same gen. BTW the new mustang looks nice.

although we all know the F can probably be forced to produced more horsepower, it causes other liabilities that lexus probably did not want to risk.
that mustang is bad *** but it is what it is, a ford mustang. there's more to a sports car than just numbers, see... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gl2YEFFgN2Y

The original Boss 302 ('69-'70) was before Bruce's time (I remember the car well...that was my high school senior year). What you need is Jimi Hendrix, Credence Clearwater Revival, and some psychadelic stuff like Iron Butterfly.

Ahhh no thank you.
Never even remotely thought of comparing the ISF to a Mustang. Very different cars. Too Boy-Racer like for my taste. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
It's not all about HP. See my sig. My Nissan will likely spank my F but it does not make it a better car by any means. Same thing with the Mustang.
And yes you did post too many pictures of it. You surely like it a lot.

The 2011 Mustang Boss is compare to the BMW M3, so if you can compare the BMW M3 to the Lexus ISF, I can see why someone would compare the 2011 Mustang Boss to the Lexus ISF. The new 2011 Mustang GT is now the best bang for the buck sport car, if Car & Driver pick the BMW M3 over the Nissan GT-R, I can see the new 2011 Mustang GT being the a great pick for sport car.

Your opinion does make sense to some extent, however the Boss Mustang is stricty a 2 door "sports" car in a limited sense. I say limited because they had live axles which unless they changed them is great for drag and not so great for handling in the track.
They built the Mustang with a lot more focus on performance and bang for the buck.
The Lexus ISF is a sports sedan buit with performance and luxury in mind.
So IMO they are not directly comparable. I would think that most people who bought their F's were not looking to buy a best bang for the buck performance car.
I know I did not. If I did then I would have considered the Mustang.
