Said it before... after driving a 911 and Cayman back-to-back... a Cayman Sport would render the Carrera about pointless....
Porsche To Premiere Midengine Sports Car at 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show
Published Nov 12, 2010
Just the Facts:
•Porsche says a world premiere is set for November 17 at the L.A. show but gives no details.
•Porsche will also present two U.S. premieres, the 911 Carrera GTS and the 911 Speedster, at the Los Angeles show.
STUTTGART, Germany — Porsche has announced that it will present a world premiere of a midengine sports car at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. The debut, set for November 17, is rumored to be a sporting version of the Cayman called the Clubsport (or CS) that has been eagerly awaited by Porschephiles — but Porsche isn't saying.
Porsche will also present two U.S. premieres, the 911 Carrera GTS and the 911 Speedster, at the Los Angeles show.
The Carrera GTS, the top of the Carrera lineup, has a wider body and track and a power output of 408 horsepower. The 911 Speedster, to be built in a limited edition of 356 units, has a retro-look shorter windscreen, low-slung manual hood and double-bubble trunk lid. The Speedster has a six-cylinder engine making 408 hp.
Inside Line says: This one should draw the crowds. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent

I posted this yesterday: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...auto-show.html
... or RUF's 3400K: http://www.worldcarfans.com/10708103...man-test-drive
But as rdgdawg says, being a stock production car is a completely different issue... not to mention none of the FI Caymans can be done with the PDK.
