Just keep waiting, Mike..........C&D will probably bite the dust, too, I didn't mind seeing Brock Yates go (I thought he was just a big blowhard), but both Csaba Csere and Patrick Bedard's leaving were real losses.

That's a shame. Another great mag bites the dust after "Sports Car International." I used to buy "Max Power" all the time. It was funny, you got to see the modified car scene in Europe, and of course the naked girls which is rare in a car mag. You can always tell your girlfriends you buy the magazine for the cars and had no idea about the naked chicks

Unfortunately coming from England "Max Power" like many British car mags was really expensive at over $10 which meant few bought it here because of the price, plus the internet has taken out a big chunk of magazine sales.

The only other British car mag I have seen with the humor, European car scene, and naked chicks like "MaxPower" is "Redline" and I have not seen that magazine in stores for a couple years, it may have gone under too.

I really hope this is not a sign that other expensive great British car mags are going to start disappearing like CAR, TOP GEAR, and EVO. They are by far the best magazines for enthusiasts with excellent photography. I wish their was a way to get a subscription in the states for a reasonable price.

The internet does not give the same experience as looking forward to car mags and I tend not to read the entire article/section when it is on the internet where I read everything in magazines.

Maybe I will go out and see if I can get the last issue of "Max Power".

Max Power decline, I'll stick with C&D.

I generally like C&D, too, but not everyone shares that opinion. It was, IMO, once one of the best auto magazines on the market, but when they changed the type/design format and Csaba Csere and Patrick Bedard left, it went noticeably downhill.

I know the thread topic is Max Power.....like 0-60, I can't comment specifically on that magazine, because I didn't read it.

Same here, but I don't get the impression we are missing much.
