I don't like little Bernie (Formula One's favourite Hobbit) but to suggest he's senile is ridiculous - they guy's doing business deals around the world worth billions. I've also heard him interviewed numerous times and he's as sharp as a tack.
The papers also made wild guesses about the robbery, (incorrectly) assuming that Ecclestone would be wearing expensive items, as would any girlfriend of his. It turns out that what was stolen would barely net someone a cheap holiday in Spain, let alone set them up for life.
