LOL! I simply cannot believe Acuras ad campaign. How on Gods green earth does Acura expect to sell cars with their current advertising? Double vented, quad chambered, chestnut roaster? 60's, post-modern Gingerbread houses? WTF! These are the sleepiest, most boring car ads I've ever seen.
It's shocking that they haven't fired their advertising agency. What an embarrassment.

I've always considered VW commercials to be the biggest waste of automotive advertising dollars in the US (at least in last few years). Juggling pens, punching dubs, test driving with lame salespeople and getting speeding tickets repeatedly, blah, blah, blah. Another example of a company not having good enough cars to advertise about.

Toyota caught me by surprise with their imbedded Prius ads on Mythbusters. In one they were talking about solar energy and it moved into the solar panels on the top of some Prius models and another one sucked me in about 'eco' materials.

Clever but it didn't really grab me (although I did remember it which was the point)

At least the Infiniti ad shows the car handling good. Those ridiculous VW ad's are supposed to be funny, but they're not. And the Acura Ad's.... how can you advertise those cars?!? I think they did well not to show the cars until the end.

I had 3 Acura's before my Lexus. They are great combination of luxury and value, but I agree, there marketing is horrible! Some of their models are great, I never once had an issue with one, but they don't market the brand well.

They have a loyal following, but they need to do something about the fronts of their cars.

Yes, cheesy! At least that's something. Here Acura is, a struggling car company with very questionable market focus and this is the best they can come up with? Jeez maneez!!!! They need help, and fast.
