Acura "Season of Reason"
Acura Marketing is doing their best.
I have to say, I like their current campaign.

Fast forward to:
1:10 - 1960's postmodern gingerbread house, but one hesitates to call it a house
and
2:00 - double vented, quad chambered chestnut roaster ... the chestnut, she's a fickle beast.
I have to say, I like their current campaign.

I have to say, this is the reason Acura = FAIL.

I also like the local Toyota dealer commercials in the style of "PLEASE TRY MY PRODUCT!" learn computers by CD tutorial commercials.

The concept of saving by buying the less desirable and cheaper product is a very old concept, despite the advertising spin.

I really don't think commercials sell cars anyway. For something that's $10K, no one wakes up, sees a commerical and goes "holy crud... I need to get me one of those..."

Acura commercials are all B.S b/c they try to pawn off "advance" and "technology" and they are behind EVERYONE. They are even behind GM, Ford, Hyundai etc in some areas.
Notice they rarely show the front ends, always the rears and if it is the front 9 times out of 10 the cars are silver. This is a clear message, WE ARE ASHAMED OF OUR FACE. Imagine a Benz, BMW, Lexus commercial or ad where the front isn't shown.
As for Toyota I usually dislike their ads, many are annoying.
