Definitely a year with interesting cars and a lot of competition! 2010 was also the year of recalls.

Maybe it was a great year for someone who bought a couple cars off that list, otherwise, Im no longer in high school and cars just don't do it for me anymore like they use to

Depends on the model-year vs. the calendar-year. Some all-new or redesigned 2010 models, of course, were released early in 2009. But, in general, Mike, your list of individual cars looked pretty good. But, also in retrospect, I think can hardly be called a great year when we lose four significant main-line divisions (Saturn, Pontiac, Hummer, and Mercury), and almost lose a fifth (Saab). And some of the latest Subaru models, IMO, for reasons that I have already discussed in other threads, are less-impressive and well-built than the last-generation models they replace. Acura's marketing/styling, despite the rock-solid build/assembly-quality of its vehicles, is still not very impressive either. On the plus side, though, Saab, now that it is free from GM, (may?) turn out to now have better management.....we'll wait and see.

IF there's any one good thing that came out of 2010 it was Detroit's rude awakening.

I thought 2010 was kind of flat. If anything, there were no new bread and butter models of cars we see a lot of or of ones that are reachable. Cars like Camry, Accord, Altima, Corolla, Sentra, Civic, Malibu, Impala, Fusion, IS, GS, LS, G, C, S, 3, A4, CTS, TL, TSX, etc. When the popular models get redone, that's when I look at it as a big model year.
