Sorry guys but I just couldn't control myself. I had to start a separate thread to congratulate Mike & Hagi on this accomplishment. Two guys/Two cars on a mission today and did indeed obliterate all previous C63 records
New NA C63 Record: 10.997 @ 125.66
Mods:
- MHP Long Tube Headers
- MHP V3 ECU Tune
- Carbonio Air Boxes (Piece of ***** compared to RENNtech's boxes... sorry I had to say it )
- Carbon Fiber Trunk & Hood
- Skinny wheels in the front
- MT Drag radials in the rear
- MCD Intake System <---> not sure about this one :nix:
New Headers + Tune C63 Record: 11.19 @ 125.51 mph
Mods:
- MHP Long Tube Headers
- MHP V3 ECU Tune
- MT Drag radials in the rear
Thank you guys again for your dedication and persistence.... you inspire many of us and I hope you continue to go faster and faster as you advance this platform :y

The C63 is a beast, I was in my fathers FX50S and a C63 pulled up next to me and we pulled away from the light and it was like I did not even touch the gas, and the FX50 does 0-60 in about 5 seconds, at the next light the guy just looked over at me and smiled and sipped his coffee it's a sweet car and sounds amazing

Regarding mods, since both are naturally aspirated ("N/A") you are limited to intake and headers. There is nothing crazy for these N/A engines unlike the forced induction ("F/I") engines of the 5.5 or 6.5 AMG or the 335/535 where all you have to do is alter the boost via pulley or tune for pretty big gains.
I can't wait to see how the new F/I AMGs and M cars are modded in the next year or so, it's going to be insane when we see them get into the 650-700 hp range

i visit mbworld forums quite frequently and I have to admit the MPH mods really do get good numbers. reliability on these modded c63 are quite good, since the engine is used in higher models were their peak hp and torque are much more.
