What are your 3 Favorite Mid Level Luxury Sedans? (V6 Edition)
Select your 3 favorite mid level luxury sedans at this point in time. Since the competition is different with V6 engines vs. V8 engines, I will do a separate poll next week for the V8 models only.

My criteria is the same as the entry level thread, and once again I only choose two choices - GS and M.
The other two that I would remotely consider are the E and the 5, but neither really makes the cut IMO. I dislike the design of the E and wouldn't choose and engine that's 30hp down on the competition, and the 5 is simply too heavy despite it's good looks and beautiful interior. I'm also skeptical of the engine until we know that BMW has sorted out their HPFP issues.
I think the GS is probably the fastest in this group, it's reliable and good looking, and priced sensibly. The GS also has all of the tech features that I look for.
I know that the M has it's faults, but I like the car overall. I'd get it in sport trim, and probably in black or gray, but I find the interior to be beautiful and the exterior doesn't bother me like it does some others.

Same with you.
I could've picked others but:
-Audi (I only go for RS6 Avant)
-BMW (only diesel versions for me......or the M5)
-Cadillac (CTS-V wagon please....which is THE fastest American wagon)
-MB (either E250 CGI, E250 CDI, E300 or E 63 AMG station wagon for me )
-Hyundai Genesis (only V8 top-of-the-line only for me)
-Lincoln (Ford's Ecoboost engine is epic.......but I'm not familiar with Lincoln )

I really like the new 5-series look. It's elegant and restrained, unlike the E60. It has to win a vote despite costly maintenance.
The GS is also very attractive and conservative, a classic for me. Typical Lexus traits of smooth, quiet operation, and the best V6 in the world.
I must grudgingly include the MB E-class. Although I don't like the look and the latest MB interior ambience, there's nothing like the feel of cruising down the highway in a bank vault of a car.
