while anything pre and post gov't bail out gm's have very low resale.

I've never looked at the Prius as geeky. Rather I saw it as a vehicle for people who were looking for environmentally friendly transportation. It looks pretty damn nice especially with some mods. Akerson could only dream about having Toyota's success. His comment is somewhat hypocritical - bashing one very successful and popular hybrid while trying to get people in GM's overpriced an unproven electric car. Worked like a charm though. He makes me want to trade in my 450h and get the Volt - NOT! I'll stick with tried and true
