maybe someone can give a better definition of entry luxury. i personally consider hid (led) and power seats very very basic in any kind of luxury cars, entry level or not. otherwise, i think that should be more like luxurious mainstream vehicle.
maybe that's why i am kind of against cars like hs, ct, 1 series, a1, etc... luxury companies have to get the balance, their badge reputation is at stake here. they have to carry the high end flagship that goes well into 6 digits, those people care about prestige and status. but if the same brands go into categories so low that power seats aren't available, it does make people think
just configured mine, and it shot from 29k to 39k to have it equipped the way i like. i wish it was a bit lower, but i think with the current market, this is a reasonable price
Of course invoice is much less. Imagine getting a new CT for around 28k or so! A drop, some 18s or 19s and this is a really awesome DD for an enthusiast. Stock its a great car, even the base model with no features is pretty loaded.

damn. that's a 33% increase over base price. in the euro car world, we call this nickel and diming

i am not sure if invoice is too far away from msrp. if you look at for example the rx450h, a 53k car, invoice is about 48k. that's 5k difference. with the ct, the msrp is about 60% of rx hybrid, the invoice price maybe is just 3k below msrp. with some of the options "preferred" to make this car reasonable, i think low to mid 30s would be the norm, which is not bad.

well, in some sense, that's how lexus is heading anyway, which i think is ok.
ok guys, CT200h is a nice looking small wagon. question though... BESIDES fuel economy / emissions, what is the benefit of owning this car over many other small 4 door sedans / CUVs? i mean, why would one want a CT200h vs. say a Fusion Hybrid, or a 4 door VW GTI?
