Agreed.
My theory is that Californian's in general are fast paced. Mix our nature with a little harsher weather and they go crazy! As opposed to say Oregonians who drive very well in bad weather, but tend to think of Californian's as crazy drivers in normal weather (I think their speed limits hold them back.. )

Be careful out there 1SICK! Freaky winter for ATL so between people not used to the snow and the amount of cars that probably have summer tires on I say..... stay home I've been driving 4WD and AWD for over 20 years and not once did that help make the other drivers on the road smarter.

It snows so infrequently here that people most often don't have the right tires (best most anyone has are all-season radials) and probably 1 out of 10,000 have cables/chains. You'd be hard pressed to find somewhere that sells them.

loooool! every man for himself! another snow storm is coming to NY within the next 12 hours!!! i gta buy salt.
here in NY, the opposite of what yur thread is saying about what bad weather can lead to is how this weather brings people together, u see the friendliness in people who choose to help others out, whom are stuck in snow! its nice sight to see cuz usually, people in NY are either minding their own business when driving or aggressively driving and tailing...

I do, but when most streets look like this 3(!) days after the snow stopped falling - took me 3hours to dig a path to get my work truck out...only to get stuck for 4more hours on the next block over(with Verizon guys helping me out). Gotta love DSNY!!!

"BMW 500 Series"
"I was losing traction and I couldn't understand why"
That is just epic fail that his car actually caught on fire while doing a burnout.
