I often give factory-spec replacement wiper-blades for Christmas.....items that many car owners can use and that, of course, regularly wear out. I also give nice car-emblem/logo key chains and the excellent SCRATCH-OUT scratch remover/paint-conditioner that I often speak about.

And, of course, every December, I give CL and CAR CHAT my Special Holiday Review on an expensive, upmarket vehicle...........this year, of course, it was the Jaguar XKR Supercharged convertible.

Before modifying your chimney for easy passage, request a gift certificate for that S63.

But either way, Merry Christmas!

I asked for a BFWD clay, shine, and polish kit. Hopefully I get that instead of more crap that I don't need. LOL

Here. I'll at least fit my Panamera review down the chimney for you. Merry Christmas.

I had the Lexus IS hand-washed today (2 hours later I put it back in the garage) I'll bring the car out Monday when weather should be fair.

Did you guys in Silicon Valley get any of that awful flooding and mudslides from the Pacific storms, or did the coastal mountains protect you?

Very rare in Silicon Valley, largely protected by coastal ranges, therefore a semi-arid Mediterranean climate (one of the more pleasant climates in the entire world). I happen to live in the hills on the other side of valley so rainfall is usually even less, but winds can be higher during storms.

The flooding and mudslides in southern Cal are often shown by media for maximum sensational impact, but in reality only impact a very small percentage of the total population.

We are expecting some dreary rain on Christmas day. Maybe you will get a white Christmas this year?

Merry Christmas!

Thanks. I'll be off to the hospital Monday morning for one of the most important Christmas presents I'll ever get.....new heart arteries. Hope to be back by New Year's Day.

I (probably) won't be doing any reviews for several weeks, but that's OK.......Mike (1SICKLEX) and Hoovey2411, I'm sure, will have plenty of them.

Mike - Best of luck with the operation and wishing you a speedy recovery.

If I get a chance I will test drive a new Explorer, one of my local dealers might get one next week.

Merry Christmas to you, Mike (SicK), groovey Hoovey and all at CL.

Steve
