Maserati enjoyed a pretty strong 2010 due to strong sales of the GranTurismo Convertible. The Fiat SpA brand sales were up 48 percent this year through November. Maserati sold a total of 1,717 units in the United States during that period, including 558 units of the GranTurismo Convertible since its introduction in March, according to Autodata Corp.
“We are pleased with the results this year,” said Jeffrey Ehoodin, a Maserati spokesman.
Maserati said that the GranTurismo Convertible has sold out in the U.S. and that there is now a waiting list for the car.
Refresher: The 2010 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible is powered by a 4.7L V8 making 440-hp. Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the GranTurismo Convertible goes from 0 to 62 mph 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 176 mph. Prices in the U.S. start at $135,800.

the rear of the grancabrio looks great! but i'm not feeling the front. from a choice perspective, i would pick the aston martin for sure. but i wouldn't necessarily say no to the grancabrio. it would definitely be an option i'd consider if i was to buy a luxury car in that price range.

I checked out the GranCabrio at the dealer, I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the interior, the leather is so rough, it is unbelieveable
I would grade the leather smoothness as on par with the Infiniti G35 coupe, yeah that is how bad it is.
I am guessing that the Ferrari engine cost so much, they have to cut cost in the interior.
The exterior styling is ok, the extra long 4 seats interior killed the sexiness.
I then walked over to the Ferrari dealer to check out the California and 458......yup the leather is baby butt smooth, which means the GranCabrio is too cheap for the good stuff as far as the Italians are concern. If you want good leather with a Ferrari engine, the $225k California is the entry cost. The GranCabrio is their low end product.
It is funny how everything is relative. $160k is consider a low end car for the Italian!
I got back into my SC430 after sitting in the GranCabrio, the interior of the SC430 feels way more highend, it is such a funny feeling. I won't buy an Italian sports car until I can afford a 458. I refused to pay more for an inferior interior just for the badge, I guess that Ferrari engine sounds is very cool, but still.
