Some bmw folks are cool but seems majority are aholes. Had one guy at a light in a 325 tell me nice Toyota when I was in my SC I said thank you. When light changed I let him know how nice the Toyota was next light he didn't even look over lol.
I hear them advertise that all the time on the radio. So they don't really cover all the wear and tear as they say?
That's not true. It also covers brake pads, brake discs, wiper inserts.
Quoting the BMW Website:
BMW Maintenance Program: One of the most comprehensive maintenance programs in its class, covering all factory-recommended maintenance services during the New Vehicle/SAV Limited Warranty Coverage Period, as well as specific items that require replacement due to normal wear and tear, such as brake pads, brake discs and wiper blade inserts.
It actually makes BMWs pretty good value if you are able to buy the car at ED invoice.
Holy ***** Batman, you mean your Lexus is not a Toyota????
That has about as much logic as saying lambo are VW. Lexus is a subsidiary of Toyota, yes. However the factory that made Lexus are owned by Lexus and only makes Lexus.

Yes this is an interesting point. The Tahara plant which built my car, only makes Lexus.
But the Dresden plant that builds the Bentley Continental Flying Spur also builds Volkswagens.

If your talking about the Tahara Plant, it is owned by Toyota Motor Company and Toyota's like the Toyota RAV4 and Toyota 4Runner are also made in that plant. I believe the Toyota Celica was also built at the Tahara Plant but it may have been in a different plant in Tahara then the current one that makes most Lexus cars.
i am just being honest here. trying to further separate lexus and toyota imho is more like avoiding the topic. i personally don't mind my car being a toyota (and i think it is). it's just an upscale toyota (fine with that) and it's solid
