Just got the latest issue of CR and the Edge and MKwhatever did pretty bad. They disliked the computerized Sync infotaintment system saying it had needless steps and was a major distraction. I don't see how this could be any different than a typical touchscreen navigation set up, but maybe it isn't as user friendly. Overall, I was disappointed to hear this, as most reviews of Sync have been positive thus far.

Wow, really? If true, that is a major flaw that Ford overlooked. Strange, given all the praise the Sync system has been getting.

I test drove the new Edge with Sync and wasn't very impressed with the system. Sure the GUI looks pretty sweet, but its very slow and not very finger friendly. The voice commands are supposed to be pretty comprehensive tho.
