The car has been a flop. The QX56 outsold it last month which was unheard of last generation. In a sales thread I posted the discounts etc the car has needed 1 month after its debut. Locally there are no joke $379 and $399 leases and also $459 or so sign and drive leases. One place even advertises "drive a new Infiniti every two years".Then you see their dismal loyalty results every year.

Dealers are praying it sells better in 2011. There is a new A6 and GS coming and that will only complicate matters.

Things must be going bad for this car as one local dealer offered $12K off a new 11 M56X.

The only thing we remember is your past behavior in defending Nissan/Infiniti anytime possible. Its a new year, two days in the same behavior.

The M37/56 has huge incentives pretty much since its debut. You questioned that, I proved it. You had no reply.

Now the QX56 is outselling the car. That never happened before.

The M37/56 is selling at a 50% rate of the last gen's first year status. That means it FLOPPED.

Being 3rd is nothing to brag about when its the newest entry with the 5, needs huge discounts/leases and the competition is older.
No one is saying its a bad car. It just flopped and again, dealers are hoping sales in 2011 pick up.

I see way more new E's and 5's than the new M.

I've seen the new M only twice on the road now--and mistook them both times for a Maxima.

Good deal for you guys...not up here.

1 and 3 series as well as the outgoing X3 are at 1.9-2.9%.

Zero discount on financing or leasing for the new 5 series, X6 (told you they sell well up here...lol) and any M cars.

Everything else is 3.9-5.9%.

BMW has had big discounts for a long time, nothing new here.

These huge discounts on the Infiniti M however ARE big news. Combined with the rock bottom lease rates being offered on the G37, it is clear that Infiniti is struggling.

It's still a pretty new model, and sales will soon drop below 1000 units monthly. Sorry, but that is a certified flop. 1st sales of the new M don't come even close to 1st year sales of the 3GS.

I've been told Number of infiniti dealers is way less then half of what BMW has, so that effects sales

If the 3rd best selling car in its class is considered a "FLOP", then the GS is a flop, the A6 is a flop, the XF is a flop, etc etc, since the M outsells them all.

I think it's great that the QX56 is outselling the M. That means that over 1300 buyers/month are willing spend well over $57k on an INFINITI (something you have claimed over and over that the buying public were unwilling to do). I guess times are a changin', eh?
