MSN: Worst new-for-2011 vehicles
#16
Maybe. Maybe not. The previous one (which many said looked like an angry bull) was still selling well up the time it was succeeded by the new one. Apparently enough people like the looks, even though many of us don't. If the market for this class of vehicle tumbles then the QX will slide right with it as well.

The GX is considered mid-size while the QX is a full-size. The GX certainly has stolen many sales away from the LX, however, both being 3-row BOF LSUVs.

LX and GX cannot be compared, just as LX and QX cannot be compared.
LX is in a totally different price segment, base MSRP is a full 20K above the QX.
It's also bigger than the GX and offers a few different features and options.

Since we seem to be focused on the QX while I think its horrendous outside the interior is well done and its selling very well, dealers in many areas can't keep them in stock. It is a Patrol rebadge.
Like the QX, the GX is a Prado rebadge. Both have minimal changes. The GX is smaller but both are 7 seat luxury SUVs. To be honest the QX pricing really makes me scratch my head at the GX but seems buyers like both as both are selling well at the same price points.
The LX is based on the LC but is completely different inside and out and in a class of its own with a base price 20k higher than both and is a very limited production model that dealers also can't get fast enough. Its on par with the Range Rover.
All 3 are doing very well right now.

Imo, pretty much the whole article is a fail. The Scions are pretty much unchanged from the previous year. Why consider them new for 2011? And the other cars on the list seemed at least decent. I felt like MSN put this up just for the sake of putting something up.
There are no newly redesigned 2011 Chryslers. If those can be counted, the list will be filled with Chryslers, Dodges and Jeeps.

Wasn't the Volt recently named Car of the Year by one of the rags???....lol.
Just a long list of cars that would never be a consideration when shopping anyways. File them all under: Do Not Care.

I don't agree with any one on the list. Sure all of these cars have this and that flaws, but which cars don't? The RVR(outlander sport) and Jetta are using unpowered and outdated engines, that I agree, but only that deficit is not making them the worst. Volt, Juke, Avalon, xD all serve their prime targets correctly. To me Juke is more attractive looking than Rogue, which is forgettable in an instant.
