Default Audi S5 in "Porsche Lime Green"

Found this while looking for S5 Sportback pics. Seriously the WORST color combination I have ever seen in my life. I dont mind the green, it is very unique (still not something I would do). But red guts? Wow!

Found for sale on eBay is this flamboyantly unique Audi S5 Coupe featuring a killer color combination that makes it stand out like a lime in a bowl of lemons. And this ain't no vinyl wrap; the "Porsche Lime Green" exterior finish was a special factory order that cost the owner $2,500. Open the door and you'll see why most manufacturers don't allow customers to combine certain exterior shades with certain interior colors even if they are available.

Quite a poor choice of colors indeed.

looks like christmas all over again! but i'm with Hoovey2411- i dont mind the green exterior-wise, but black w/green accents would suit it better. but green on an audi... ...i don't think it looks as good as on a porsche or a lambo that can pull off those types of exterior colors better.

Yeah the interior doesn't help this car one bit.

Neither does the completely stock exterior. I imagine the car would look a bit more proper with all the chrome blacked out, for starters. And maybe some mean track wheels.

That’s right, you read the title correctly. No, this is not a dream. The man – the legend – Jack Baruth, has put his Porsche lime green Audi S5 up for sale. It is currently on eBay for those that are interested. This fine piece of sexy is nicely optioned with a six-speed manual transmission and Tuscan Brown leather interior.

Not to mention, there is the Audi navigation system package, technology package, carbon inlays and the Bang & Olufsen sound system. Yes, I would love to own this car! This car (correct me if I am mistaken) has participated in many track days, including the Cadillac CTS-V challenge with Bob Lutz. This, my friends, is a piece of Jack Baruth history.

Someday it could even be a collectors item (no promises on that though!). Do not let that bit about the car participating in track days scare you folks. Mr. Baruth is a very very very very skilled driver.

He knows how to handle a car around a track, and I assure you this gem is in good condition. This car will get you lots of attention (did I mention it is Porsche lime green?!). If you do not like attention……well than this car is not exactly for you.

I know what you are thinking, why is Mr. Baruth selling his S5 that is so awesome? Well, it sounds like he has been dreaming of a Switzer P800. You can check out the eBay listing here, and it has more pictures to check out. Last thing, who has an extra $49,995 laying around I can borrow?

I think that color looks better on a Porsche because the Porsche has frog-like eyes.

The S5 would be better in a classic color because it's got such clean lines that won't age for years.

Agreed, on being WORST color Combo.. but you have to think why would Audi allow such an abomination?? Sales are low and their opening the gates to allow customer's taste on deciding what they want.. It'll be a RARE car indeed.. but not pretty by anyone's standard except this guy..wow just wow, why why why would someone waste a fine car on such a Fugly combo?!

Rather than highlighting one color, both colors seem to be at war with one another, trying to get your attention.

It would have been better if you highlighted a custom color like Porsche Lime Green by making everything else neutral, or highlighting the rich Tuscan Brown Saddle interior.

Like I've said before, Luxury is not the opposite of Poverty. Luxury is the opposite of Vulgarity.

This is simply too vulgar.
