For the love of ROTA

I'll admit, when I just got my work wheels I stored them in my room and had them out and constantly touched them in non inappropriate ways.
But not with the tires, gross lol... and ROTA definitely do not deserve a spot on my bed.

if i didn't have the room to store them. i would stack them and buy a piece of glass to make a nightstand/coffee table.

I love reading the 'anti-Rota' posts.
Here's a fact: Any wheel will break, does not matter what you paid for them.
I've seen folks here at Laguna Seca use Rota for their track wheels.
What's the story behind that 'Rota QA' photo? It reminds me of what happens to wheels at WRC cars. Was the driver off-roading, because his car is on dirt.
It looks like HREs were banned from track use by a race series because of strength issues, yet I don't see 'anti-HRE' posts.
And no, I do NOT own any Rota wheels.

HRE had some issues in years past. Some fell apart on them. Rota has had a lot of really bad failures. It is well documented.
I don't really hear issues about BBS though.
The problem with Rota is they steal others' design and their cast wheel process is not that great.

They'd only be bankrupt if people stopped buying them and obviously people are still buying them.... it has nothing to do with making a bad wheel. Tons of people are uninformed and will buy a cheap wheel because it fits their budget keeping companies like Rota in business. Again, staying in business has nothing to do with quality....heck most of China would be bankrupt right now if quality is what sold a product...
